WWEF Spring Newsletter – 2021
Dear Friends of the Winton Woods Educational Foundation,
Whew, we are almost there! This has been one of the most challenging school years we have ever faced as a district, as a State and as a Country. Through it all, the WWEF has continued to work to find ways to support you and your students by funding new and innovative projects and by interacting with the community to provide information on our shared goals. We continue to sincerely thank every one of you who helped support the Foundation. To those with payroll deduction accounts, those who have generously given through PayPal, and those who have given in remembrance of our founding members and long-time supporters: Mary Pennycuff and Sue Heidotting, you allow us to continue our mission and honor those who have supported us all. Thank You!
Looking back on this school year, remember to give yourself credit for what you accomplished and take some time to regroup and reenergize. Soon, you will have new buildings and new challenges, but working together, you can do it and we want to help.
We are currently reviewing this year’s excellent Grant applications. The WWEF has set aside six thousand dollars for this year’s awards. We will notify the winners soon and make the “Giant Check” presentation in the Fall.
With the Covid-19 challenges, our fundraising goals were not met, but we would like to thank everyone who had a wonderful dinner (or carry out) at Grand Finale in February. Next year we are hoping that more in person events and opportunities will be available.
Please remember the WWEF benefits from: Kroger Rewards, Amazon Smile, and Face Book donations. Please see our website for easy one-time donations, gifts or tributes at: https://wintonwoodsfoundation.org.
Thank You for all you do,
