The WWEF is committed to promoting and enhancing the educational experience of the Winton Woods City School District students and programs. To date, we have been able to distribute approximately $150,000 in grants awarded to teachers and staff who come to us with their ideas for cutting edge, outside of the box, projects that would not fall within the parameters of School District funding. These projects have had an impact on over 10,000 students. We hope to encourage ideas that lead to real life experiences that promote growth in academics, social skills, the arts, and community engagement.
Grant submissions are solicited in the Spring of each year, with a deadline of June 1st. Winners are notified and awarded the “Big Checks” in the Fall at the District’s opening day ceremonies.
